Jiu Jitsu is a devastating ground fighting system of self defense that originated in Brazil.  Taking it's roots from traditional Japanese Jiu Jitsu.  It has now become one of the most proven forms of self defense.

Is Jiu Jitsu Easy to Learn?
Most Definitely!  The Techniques of  Jiu Jitsu were developed for small to medium size people in order to defeat a much larger opponent.  The techniques have been continually revised and tested by the Gracie family, making it a very efficient, simple and easy to learn.

We hold to strong commitment focused toward a family oriented training enviroment.

"It is only with a lot of training and dedication that we can achieve something. A brave man, a real fighter is not measured by how many times he fall, but how many times he stand up. Always be ready to fight, to win and to forgive when necessary. Good luck and train hard!"
- Rickson Gracie.

Brothers, Bryan and Michael Baldwin were the first to open a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school in Western North Carolina, in August of 1998, which they still run today. Now expanded and are affiliated with Cross Training Academy II located in Alabama where head instructor Andrew Baker is a exceptional instructor and friend.
We owe a great amount of honor and respect to our friend and brother JOE HURST for all he has done to help our academy and students. Bryan and Michael were promoted by Gracie Barra Professor Rubao Carioca and Gracie Barra Professor Joe Hurst
